Chilly Thursday

Water-blasting target shooting, BB Guns, Chuckwagon pancakes, Cowboy Music, and a service project! Although it was chilly, the wind had slowed to stiff breeze. There was also some guest entertainment.

The wind finally got too much for us so we moved the camp inside. The station leaders and boys did a great job of adapting. The only station we couldn't bring inside was BB Guns so we did games.

Fun On The Range

Here are the words to our Day Camp Song...they sang it with the wind at their backs and sand in their teeth!!! Sung to the tuen of "Home on the Range."

Oh give me a home where the Webelos roam,
And the Wolves and the Bears like to play,
Where seldo is heard a discouraging word,
And the Cub Scouts wrestle all day.

Home, home on the range,
Where the Cub Scouts like to play
We learn to patch tires andhow to make fires
and help other people all day.

Day Camp Training Meeting

The best was saved for the last at our Training meeting. Our aim is to provide a fun environment for the Cub Scouts to work and play in and a love of Scouting!
